Mixaphone family honored as family of the year at idaho state convention

A family of our parish and Council was recognized as Family of the Year. The list of things that the Mixaphone family does for our parish and community is too voluminous to mention here. Just know that this award is well deserved. It was truly a heartwarming experience to witness Brother Rasamy, his wife Stanlynne, and their children receive this award from our State Deputy. During their acceptance speech, Brother Rasamy mentioned that he loves to go fishing. He always looks for a vacant day on the calendar to go but can never find one because there is always a church or community event booked on the calendar. That drew a lot of laughs from the conference attendees!
